YouTubeで「Parody」というキーワード検索をするのが最近の趣味です。
そんな中で発見したのが下のビデオ。チップマンク好きの私のハートを直撃だ。何がなんだかわからないうちに、気がついたらここに書いてしまっておりました。
「チップマンク」とはリスやねずみなどの小動物をさし、コミック音楽界では主に「ボイスチェンジャー」などで声色を変えて唄った曲のことを総称している。まあ、ヘリウムガスを吸って喋ったときの声で歌っていると思ってください。
すっかり私がメロメロになっている曲がコレ。
「Squirrels」です。

あんまりヘンな曲なんでいろいろと調べまわったところ、どうやらビースティボーイズの曲らしい。
いや、しかし彼らの方がカバーかもしれないし・・・。ちょっとその辺はわかりません。
ビースティ版が以下のビデオです。

歌詞が知りたいなーと思って検索したらあった！インターネットっていいなあ。ほんと、いい時代になったものだ。
あとで訳しますがとりあへず英語で。
（でも聞き比べてみたら、ビースティ版は歌詞違うっぽいな。）
